TKO Tattoo — Realism Tattoo Artist: Portrait, Color & Black-and-Grey · Fort Lauderdale TKO
Portrait, color & black-and-grey realism by Hector Goderich. 17 years, private Fort Lauderdale studio — by application only.
Hyper-Realistic
Formations
A collection of works emphasizing textural integrity and anatomical correctness. Each piece is a forensic study of light and shadow on human canvas.
Realism tattooing,
based in Fort Lauderdale
Realism is the hardest style to tattoo and the easiest to do badly. A photorealistic portrait, a color-realism piece, or a micro-realism detail leaves nowhere to hide — every value, edge, and transition has to read correctly the first time, then hold up for decades as the skin ages. Meeting that standard is the reason TKO Tattoo exists.
Hector works exclusively in realism, one project at a time. No flash, no walk-ins — each piece is designed for the body it lives on and built for long-term contrast, not just a good first photo.
Portrait & Photo Realism
Portraits, animals, and objects in black & grey, rendered with photographic depth. Light, form, and contrast are resolved on paper before the needle touches skin — the academic drawing foundation most tattooing skips.
View Portrait & Photo Realism →Color Realism
The same photographic accuracy built in full color. Skin tones, foliage, and light are matched so the piece reads as a photograph rather than a painting — every hue chosen to hold its depth as the skin ages.
View Color Realism →Micro Realism
Small-scale realism with fine-line precision. The same accuracy as a full-size piece compressed into a few inches, designed to stay readable as it heals and the skin ages.

TATTOO
Hector Rodriguez Goderich trained as an engraver and draftsman at the Art Academy of Santiago de Cuba — a foundation most tattoo artists simply don't have. That academic rigor is what separates his realism from everyone else's.
Since 2007, skin has been his only canvas. Over 17 years working exclusively in realism, he developed a process that treats every commission like a fine-art piece: studied, deliberate, and built to last.
Based in Fort Lauderdale, he works by appointment only — taking on the projects that demand the highest level of precision, and turning them down when they don't.

Estimates are professional approximations based on the information available before starting. Every tattoo progresses differently — skin type, placement, level of detail, healing, contrast, and overall flow all influence the final count. The priority is always the best possible result, not rushing the process.
-
For most custom projects, the design is presented on the day of the appointment. This allows it to be finalized for placement, body flow, proportions, and readability. Minor adjustments can be made before tattooing if necessary. For larger or more complex projects, a separate consultation may be scheduled at the artist’s discretion.
